The INTUITION 2008 Conference "Virtual Reality in Industry and Society: From Research to Application" will be held in one month time, so hurry and register now! The conference boasts a rich programme: on Monday Oct. 06, there will be two tutorials on state-of-the-art topics, on Tuesday Oct. 07 and Wednesday Oct. 08, parallel sessions including 25 accepted papers, selected through a scientific peer reviewed process, as well as 6 invited contributions, posters, and a rich exhibition with hands-on demonstrations from industrial partners and research projects in the wider area of Virtual Reality and Virtual Environments.

The INTUITION 2008 Conference "Virtual Reality in Industry and Society: From Research to Application" will be held under the umbrella of the INTUITION Network of Excellence in Virtual Reality and Virtual Environments for Future Workspaces (www.intuition-eunetwork.net), a network of 60 partners across Europe. INTUITION 2008 follows on from the four very successful workshops held in Athens 2004, Paris 2005, Stuttgart 2006 and Athens 2007. It is organized jointly with MIMOS, the Italian association for Modelling and Simulation, ATA, the Italian automotive engineering association, and the Chamber of Commerce of Turin.
